A third-generation glass master, Vlastimil Beránek is internationally celebrated for his monumental crystal and mixed-media sculptures. Trained under the legendary Stanislav Libenský in Prague, Beránek creates powerful, minimalist forms that seem to float between fire and ocean.
His sculptures radiate inner life—silent yet vital, frozen in perfect movement. Alongside glass, he works with stone, bronze, hardwood, and precious metals. Beránek’s inspiration flows from the sea and the ephemeral beauty of smoke—those fleeting moments captured eternally in glass.
Jaroslav Prošek - Contemporary Czech Glass Sculptor
Based in Northern Bohemia, Jaroslav Prošek is a renowned contemporary glass master. Known for his elegant glass sculptures and innovative use of mixed materials. Trained in the studios of Vlastimil Beránek and Jan Frydrych, Prošek blends technical mastery with artistic vision.
His finely polished works draw from the fluidity of the sea and the precision of optical glass techniques. He created the Blue Ocean Award trophy and was named one of Europe’s Top 100 Artists by the Michelangelo Foundation.
