James Nicholls
James is the host of ‘The Art Review’ and Art Critic for London Live TV and Art Presenter for British Airways inflight programming. Spear’s 500 Magazine named him ‘Top Art Advisor Investment and Contemporary Art’ 2023. He is the Chairman of Nicholls Art Group and up to recently was a Co-Founder and Chairman of Maddox Gallery Group.

He has presented television programmes that include ‘The Queen’s Paintings,’ from Buckingham Palace, ‘Royal Portraits’ as well as creator and presenter of the ‘Next Big Thing’ TV series, providing a platform for young emerging artists during the pandemic. James is an art expert on a diversity of subjects from Old Masters, through to Modern Contemporary. He is a Patron of; Royal Academy of Arts, National Portrait Gallery and Dulwich Picture Gallery in London.

James is from New Zealand having lived in Australia, SE Asia and Dallas Texas, before moving to London and South of France in 1995.
