What a great day yesterday as we presented to Clare Freestone, NPG Curator of Photography the exceptional photograph by Aliona of Orlando, held in the archives of the most prestigious photography collection in the world!
Orlando is recognised for his career as an international actor and UNICEF ambassador.
Congratulations to Aliona who has photographed numerous famous international personalities and had her works featured in Tatler, Vanity Fair, GQ, Country Life, Observer Magazine, The Sunday Times, as well as in advertising campaigns for Bentley and Skinner and National Geographic Channels. She is represented by Nicholls Art Group - do view a number of her works on our website.
Orlando is a friend of mine, and the photo shoot took place when he was here in London a few weeks ago. Clare and the NPG Photographic Committee are delighted with the work!
