JOSHUA DONKOR our artist, at a special event at the National Library of Wales, has unveiled his portrait of Eric Ngalle Charles the Cameroon-born Wales-based writer, poet, and playwright, The painting was received with much acclaim and is now part of the historical institution’s collection.
Joshua is the multi-award winning young artist, including for Portraiture of 'Next Big Thing' TV series London Live and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Joshua said "It’s always been a dream to have my artwork in these kind of spaces. A place that will always exist openly to the public and which most importantly enables important moments and stories to be archived and shared for generations to come. Eric’s story and legacy in Wales is one such example that deserves to be celebrated."
